Expert Legal Witness
• Served as an expert legal witness on Libyan law, instructed by Leigh Day for the case of Belhadj and another v. Straw and Others (Libyan criminal law and criminal procedures).
• Served as expert witness on Libyan law for Tekfen-TML Joint Venture v. Man-made River.
• Served as a legal expert witness in the case of MEDCO v. National Oil Company of Libya, Paris, France.
• Served as an expert witness for the defendants in Swift Spindrift v. Alvada Insurance Inc., et al., in the Southern District of New York. ;(Libyan maritime law, civil law, and Libyan banking law).
• Served as a co-counsel/legal expert for Tekfen–T.M.L. JV (TTJV) in the case against Man-Made River. (Libyan administrative and civil laws).
• Served as a legal expert in the case of Habtom Tedros v the Ministry of Defense (UK) and Others.
• Served as a sole arbitrator for construction claims. In this role, he demonstrates his impartiality and deep understanding of the law, presiding over cases held before the Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation & Arbitration Center (ADCCA), a testament to his legal acumen.

Mr. Ihsan Hoblos (Of Counsel)
Mr. Hoblos has practiced law for over 28 years in Australia, the U.A.E., and Qatar. His experience includes working in both the public sector and in-house roles within the private sector of various multinational companies, including construction firms. He earned his Master of Comparative and International Law, an LL.M., from Monash University in Australia, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Victoria University in Australia. Additionally, he holds an LL.B. law degree from Lebanon, a Graduate Diploma in Immigration Law from Victoria University, and a Graduate Diploma in Professional Legal Training from the College of Law. Mr. Hoblos has been admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria and is a member of the Lebanese Bar.

Senior Associate
Seraj earned his L.L.B. from the University of Derna Law School in 2001 and has since served in various roles as a legal advisor at our office in Libya. Mr. Seraj specializes in legal research and corporate law. He has provided advice on legal issues related to administrative and commercial corporate law.
Ms. Halima Youssef
Legal Counsel ;
Halima graduated from Derna Law School in 2013 with an L.L.B. degree. She has held various positions with our Libyan firm since 2015. Ms. Youssef specializes in commercial and corporate law. She has assisted foreign businesses in establishing a presence in Libya. Ms. Youssef has also advised on issues related to corporate and civil law.
