Renewable Energy in Libya

Since renewable energy is a new energy source in Libya and still lacks the legal framework, we are keeping with the latest developments initiated by the Executive Authority for Renewable Energy (REAOL).  We strive to be the best renewable energy law firm in Libya.

Unfortunately, there is no legal framework for the renewable energy sector.  The Executive Authority for Renewable Energy (REAOL) drafted a law in 2013 related to renewable energy, and it submitted it to the Ministry of Electricity for comments and approval.  The draft law of 2013 dealt with issues of encouraging the private sector to participate in electricity production.
